HOMECOMING UPDATE - 9/27/18 - 4:00

Please note that tonight's Homecoming Parade and Bonfire are cancelled due to the inclement weather. The team and family dinner will still be held in the cafeteria as originally planned. The Glow in the Dark Pep Rally will begin at 7:15 in the gym. We will continue to watch the weather throughout the night and make a determination on the location of the homecoming assembly early tomorrow morning. Thanks and Go PIKE! 2018 Homecoming Parade and Assembly Information

Thursday, September 27 - Parade Information The parade will line up in order on the street behind the hospital. K4 will be first (closest to school) and the PLAS Band will be last. Parade Route: The parade will circle the front of the school, go around the back between the gym and the upper building, and circle the front again. The floats will then be drive down the access road behind the baseball field. They will be parked on the hill behind the scoreboard. The floats will remain there through Saturday morning. Hurricane Florence Relief Effort

During our Homecoming Week, the Junior and Senior classes have been engaged in a fun competition to see which class can collect the most items to send to victims of Hurricane Florence. The competition ends tomorrow; however, we would like to open our collection efforts to include students of all grades at PLAS. All family and friends of PLAS are invited to participate in the collection. Please consider donating items to support the victims in the Carolinas. Items may be brought to the front office. PLAS Annual Deer Hunt

Dear Pike Family, It is time to start preparing for our 2019 Deer Hunt. The PLAS Deer Hunt committee is looking for families to help with this year’s Annual PLAS Sports Booster’s Deer Hunt. This fundraiser raised $42,000 during our 2018 Deer Hunt. This hunt has helped fund many things for our school, and your help to make this fundraiser continue to do so well will be greatly appreciated. We are looking for guides and/or landowners for the hunter’s that will be coming to hunt on January 11-13, 2019. We are also looking for volunteers for to help with other things such as meal service.
