It is an honor to serve as Athletic Director and be part of the Pike family—a community grounded in excellence, character, and faith. The coaches and I are dedicated to providing every student-athlete with an environment that fosters growth both on and off the field and court. Our mission is to develop young men and women who compete with passion, represent our school with pride, and honor God through their effort, attitude, and sportsmanship.

Experience
Coach Wright brings more than 30 years of coaching and educational experience across multiple sports and competitive levels. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to developing student athletes both on and off the field, while building meaningful relationships with coaches, athletes, and families.
​
Most recently, Coach Wright served at Alabama Christian Academy, where he contributed as an Assistant Football Coach, including roles as running backs coach and JV offensive coordinator. In addition, his background inclueds extensive experience in program administration, staff supervision, budgeting, scheduling, and facility management, making him exceptionally well suited to lead Pike Liberal Arts athletics.

Earlier in his career, Coach Wright served in Montgomery Public Schools as both an educator and administrator, and he has held leadership roles in multiple sports, including football and wrestling. He has also contributed at the state level with the AHSAA Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Game and coaching clinics, further demonstrating his dedication to advancing athletics across the region.

Coach Wright holds a Master's Degree in School of Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from Auburn University at Montgomery.
